SageCRM and Google Chrome

Many are turning to Google Chrome as the browser of choice. According to research company Net Applications, Internet Explorer, officially the only browser supported by SageCRM, has lost 1% of market share every month for the past 6 months. And now, Google Chrome has overtaken Apple's Safari.

So how to use SageCRM with Google Chrome? I think the best way may be to download and install the beta version of Google Chrome (version 4.0.+), which supports Google Chrome Extensions. Then, download and install the IE Tab extension, of which there are already over 77,000 users. Then, access SageCRM using this extension and enjoy SageCRM in Google Chrome!

Accpac Thanksgiving 2009

This past Thursday, November 19, Terrell & Terrell hosted its 10th annual client appreciation conference, Accpac Thanksgiving!

We kicked off the day with a great keynote speaker, Joe Rotella, who presented us with ways to use social media to boost the bottom line. Followed by lunch at Fogo de Chao , attendees were given the choice of 9 different breakout sessions including sessions about Sage FAS Fixed Assets, Orchid Systems, Pacific Technology, SageCRM, Accpac Tips and Tricks, and many more. During the closing session, great prizes were given away including gift cards to Fogo de Chao, a gift certificate to Music in Motion, and a free SageCRM LanPak! Congratulations to the winners!

Attendees were also able to receive 8 CPE credits for attending the entire day. Once again, we created a funny, yet informative, video that was first shown at Accpac Thanksgiving. Click Here to see it! It's a spoof of "The Dating Game," but about someone who is trying to find the great ERP system. (I wonder which one she chooses...?!?)

So please join us next year if you missed out on this annual event! Thank you to everyone who came out! The event was a great success, and we hope to see you again net November!

SageCRM - Grid Size

Submit to Digg digg it |  Add to delicious  delicious |  Submit to StumbleUpon StumbleUpon |  Share on LinkedIn LinkedIn | Submit to Reddit reddit
When SageCRM is first installed, the default grid size can be set up to 25 rows. While this may be the perfect size to see everything on one screen, occasionally some users may wish to show more than 25 lines. To add more options, the user needs to add more entries into the translation:

Caption Code: << enter grid size>>
Caption Family: UserGridSize
Caption Family Type: Choices
US Translation: <>

After adding the entry, it should show up under the Preference Grid Size drop down list.

How SageCRM Can Benefit Accounting Departments

Let me count the ways…

SageCRM:

  1. Gives non-accounting users (even those in remote locations) access to information stored in A/P vendor and A/R vendor records, including contacts, addresses, phone numbers, account numbers, and even invoices.
  2. Empowers salespeople who participate in the overdue invoice collection process using the CRM Accounts Receivable Collection Tool.
  3. Maintains vendor and customer contract information, with emailed notifications before expiration dates.
  4. Sets up a workflow for authorization of expenditures with email notification.
  5. Records IT support incidents and resolutions while building a self-help knowledgebase in the process.

SageCRM can do this and much more! For further information, Click Here or call us at (214) 647-2611.
