What happened to my Accpac?

 Sage300ERP Green

Sage 300 ERP is the new name for the Sage Accpac product line.

Sage 300 ERP Standard – the product formerly known as Sage Accpac ERP 100

Sage 300 ERP Advanced – the product formerly known as Sage Accpac ERP 200

Sage 300 ERP Premium – the product formerly known as Sage Accpac ERP 500

Recently, a long-time client called me up.  “Brian,” he said “Things are going along nicely. Sage Accpac ERP connects my front office and back office, helps me answer important questions like how much money my company is making and how many hours my employees are working. Why are they changing the name?”

Good question, I thought. BTerrell Group has been a Sage Partner for more then 20 years, selling Sage Accpac ERP solutions to clients. Why mess with a perfectly good thing?

As Sage explains it, they now have a simpler way to present the increasing levels of product capability available to you. Like luxury automobiles, the numbers associated indicate the sophistication level of the product. For example, a BMW 135 has fewer features than a 5 series model.

So Sage renamed its core product offerings under the Sage 50, Sage 100, Sage 300, and Sage 500 banners, which in turn helps simplify finding additional Sage solutions that fit your business, when and if you need them, at any stage in your business growth cycle.

Make sense?

So relax. No need to worry about the name change. Your Accpac is now just Sage 300 ERP.
