Code Management
We use CVS to manage source code, including version control, branching, code merging, and code check‐in/check‐out. Our Project Manager and your project management team will schedule and manage version releases and feature listings.
We define each version with a major version number, a minor version number, and a build number. Our project managers and your project management team work together to determine a patch, a minor version release, or a major version release; and we work together to define the function/feature/fix list for each release. The scheduled beta and production release date/period is determined in consideration of the development timetable as well as your business seasonality.
