Recently, BTerrell Group upgraded Sage ERP Accpac to the latest version for one of our clients, the Dallas Symphony Association. In the process, we also converted them from Pervasive SQL to Microsoft SQL, running in a VMWare 4.1 environment.
In addition to the obvious benefits of the new features and functions, the upgraded version more than doubled the speed at which the Dallas Symphony Association's systems operate while providing fault tolerance to the application.
According to Harriet Young, Accounts Payable Administrator at the Dallas Symphony, the upgrade along with some Accounts Payable automations for the symphony's administration team "reduced our total weekly check processing time by more than 50%."
