Content Marketing Is Hot. Influencer Marketing Could Be Hotter

content_marketing.jpgContent marketing is an important part of a diverse marketing strategy.  The Content Marketing Institute recently predicted that nearly 42% of marketing budgets will be devoted to content marketing, with some allocating 46% of marketing dollars.  According to “4 Reasons Why Influencer Marketing Should Be Part of Content Marketing Strategies,” influencer marketing can also be a valuable element of a successful marketing strategy.  In addition to white papers, webinars, and blogs, influencer content can add the element of humanity and authenticity to a brand.  People-focused stories, instead of product-focused, can garner more attention and reach out to new and different audiences.

As with any changes to marketing strategies, it’s important to monitor and measure your campaigns to make sure you are getting the results you expect.  A customer relationship management (CRM) solution can capture the data you need to determine what marketing activities are paying off, and which aren’t.  Contact BTerrell Group to learn more about using CRM to manage marketing campaigns, including content marketing and influencer marketing efforts.
