Workforce Go! Celebrates First Year Delivering Integrated ERP/HRMS Solution built for Intacct

Dallas-based solutions provider sees 50 percent growth in its first year following the introduction of Workforce Go! HRMS integration built for Intacct users

Dallas, Texas – Jan 19, 2016– Workforce Go!, which seamlessly integrates HRMS/payroll with Intacct’s cloud ERP software using Intacct Workforce-Go-logo-white-background.pngPlatform Services, is celebrating its first year in the market following the annual Intacct Advantage conference. Over the past twelve months, Workforce Go! has experienced 50 percent growth and expanded its Dallas-based team to support a nationwide client base. The majority of Workforce Go! clients are small to mid-sized employers (including many nonprofit organizations) that rely on the solution to instantly and automatically synchronize HR and finance data – an operational enhancement that can save staff hundreds of hours of manual data entry while eliminating the errors associated with hand-keying and spreadsheet-based systems.

“Workforce Go! is much more than just an integration tool. It’s capable of managing project accounting complexities and allocating costs between cost of sales and cost of operations,” said Akash Sud, Finance Director, Cognitive Scale Inc. “Depending on how an employee splits time between projects and internal departmental work, costs are appropriately allocated. And, all of this happens with the click of a button.”

“The past year demonstrates the demand that exists in this market for a simplified, all-in-one HRMS offering for Intacct users,” said Brian Terrell, Managing Partner of BTerrell Group and co-founder of Workforce Go! “Our solution addresses operational inefficiencies and compliance risks that can place a huge strain on any organization – but particularly on the growing, small to mid-sized employer where the resources and technology may not have caught up to the complexity of the group’s needs.”

Workforce Go! was originally a joint venture developed by BTerrell Group and Ameriflex, one of the nation’s leading providers of consumer-driven benefits, compliance, and workforce management solutions. Workforce Go! leverages the comprehensive functionality and cloud-based platforms of the Intacct ERP and Ameriflex Workforce Management systems.

“Workforce Go! is all the more critical for this market in light of the Affordable Care Act and the new regulatory and reporting requirements it places on businesses with fifty or more employees,” said William Short, CEO of Ameriflex. “Much of the success we’ve experienced relates directly to how the integration addresses the challenges associated with compiling the data needed to meet these requirements.”

“Intacct has always been designed as a best-in-class solution that can serve as the hub of a company’s business systems while offering the ability to easily connect with other key applications from across an organization,” said Scott Lumish, VP of Business Development for Intacct. “Workforce Go! is a good example of how Intacct works closely with our partner community to integrate with other critical business software in use by our customers. Connecting Intacct with an HRMS system like Ameriflex helps joint customers eliminate inefficiencies and drive increased automation into their back-office processes.”

ACA relaxes Form 1095-C distribution deadline

Posted by Brian Terrell on Tue, Dec 29, 2015

Yesterday afternoon, the IRS issued Notice 2016-4, which provides unexpected relief to employers distributing those soon to be well-known Form 1095-C information returns to employees. This late Christmas present will be well received by every employer struggling with system update and information gathering challenges. Applicable Large Employers (‘ALE’) and insurance companies now have nearly two additional months to get forms in the mail to employees. This additional time applies not only to Form 1095-C but also to Forms 1094-B, 1094-C, and 1095-B. Who said there wasn’t a Santa Claus?

If you are an Intacct end user struggling with ACA compliance or just want more information on fully integrated HRMS and Payroll for Intacct, please contact BTerrell Group. We're ready to discuss the incredible return on investment and decreased total cost of ownership offered by SaaS finance, accounting and HR applications!

Why SMBs Should Consider HR Outsourcing Now More Than Ever

Posted by Brian Terrell on Thu, Oct 02, 2014

As owners of small and medium sized businesses, we know that our human resources are our biggest asset and our largest expense. We constantly recruit, retain, manage, and grow our workforce. That cycle not only comes with a cost, but also a risk if we don’t have the systems and processes in place to handle the mounting complexities. As new workforce legislation, such as the Affordable Care Act, take effect, staying on top of policies and procedures will become even more important for HR compliance.

I ran across an article recently from Forbes suggesting that startup organizations benefit from HR Outsourcing. The article states, “Your in-house startup team needs to focus on developing your products and service, creating partnerships, and earning revenue. Your internal resources should be focused on your core competencies.” While the article speaks to startups, I feel it directly correlates to SMBs as well. Many SMBs don’t have a full-time employee to research new compliance rules and manage HR processes so the burden often falls to the owner. Unfortunately, when a SMB owner spends his/her time on HR tasks, revenue-driven activities become secondary, ultimately affecting the bottom line. In addition, the administrative burden can be heavy, details are easily overlooked, and costly mistakes are possible as a result of continual regulatory and workforce changes.

Companies that outsource their HR functions actually free up time to concentrate on their core competencies, improve compliance/minimize risk, reduce costs, and improve recruitment. In most cases, when you can streamline processes to improve your bottom line, maintain employee satisfaction, and redirect your focus back to revenue-generating activities, you’ve made a sound decision. Now, more than ever, is the time to consider HR Outsourcing! If you would like to discuss the pros and cons of HR Outsourcing as they relate to your business, contact us for a free consultation.
